It was truly a treat and I was able to have some very special moments with my mom. As many of you know my mom is very ill. She is one of the strongest women I know so if you are wondering where I get my personality that is it.
I am often told by my siblings that I am a lot like her and until recently I resented that. Now I am just accepting it because it is very true. I loved these sweet pictures of Blake and his Grandma Nilsen! I hope he never forgets her and how truly wonderful she is! I love you mama!

Oh my, your mother is gorgeous! I hope she's doing well. I got your message and no worries...maybe when we're out of the cold dark ages and things are green again! Keep in touch.
She is gorgeous isn't she! I love her so much. She has a Neuro-Muscular disease and her immune system is shot and she can not get sick. Thus with a little guy it is hard to plan a time when she is feeling well and he has not been exposed to some sort of illness! Anyways is was a fabulous visit and I truly enjoyed every second of it. My favorite part was watching Blake interact with her and see how even though he has not seen her since he was 15 months he was instantly in love with her.
Anyways, Sorry again about the picture thing, I know I am a horrible friend. I will definately do your pictures for you and also by the way I will not charge you a dime! My gift to you and your family due to my flakiness!LOL! Talk to you soon Nat, take care!
