Our Christmas Tree and THE Villiage!LOL!

This year Christmas was a very big deal to Blake! He participated in every aspect of this sacred and Holy holiday! It was fun to see the sweet dimples form on his face everytime he looked at our Christmas tree or talked about being good to get his beloved R2D2 Robot from Santa! Blake knows that Santa is not on this earth anymore but that his spirit at this sacred celebration of our Savior Jesus Christ is all around us. He decided all by himself to Believe in Santa this year. As many of my close friends know I have issues with the whole Santa thing. I found out the truth when I was 5 years old from a first grader on the playground and I was furious with my Mom. I could not believe she had told me a lie! I was taught honesty was a very important quality to hold and I was mad at my Mom and Dad for lying!
Well I was not going to lie to my son and I will have to tell you all that he has just as much fun and even this year told me he wanted to believe. Now as long as that is his choice that is fine with me, I am not going to be called a liar by my little man whom I teach that honesty is crucial if he wants to live with his Heavenly Father again one day.

I love Christmas and I know I am posting this late but I truly am grateful for the winter season and all of the oppurtunities it gives us to serve our fellow men and what a great reminder it is to all what we should be doing the rest of the year! I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and a fantastic start to a very new new year.
